Cape May Lighthouse is one of the most famous ones in the region of New Jersey since it is most photographed and it is also one of the most painted ones. It is also used for many calendars along with several books. Each year, it attracts a lot of onlookers and other lighthouse fanatics straight to the Cape May Point State Park. It stands about 157 feet and known to be the third lighthouse created in the list of Cape May. The first one was built in 1823 while the other was built in 1947. This one was created last 1859 and its beacon is still used for navigation guide.

It is very beautiful and all its important information is exhibited for display. It is full of historical significance and has brought a lot of memories to the lighthouse keepers. On a very clear day, you can be able to see the entire Delaware from the lighthouse.
