If you are going North on I-95
Take I-95 North to exit 82 (Broad Street). Turn right onto Broad Street. At the second traffic light, turn right onto Colman Street. Then, *** see note below
If you are going South on I-95
Take exit 83 (Frontage Road). Then take the exit for Colman Street. At the stoplight at the end of the ramp, turn left onto Colman Street. Colman St. is an intersection with a car dealership on each corner; you can’t miss it. Then, *** see note below
To the Lighthouse Inn from Hartford
From I-84 take Route 2 toward Groton/New London. At Colchester, Route 2 splits, with Route 11 toward New London branching to the right. Take Route 11. At the end of the expressway you will come to a stop sign at Route 82. Turn left onto Route 82 and follow (approx. 1 mile) to the traffic light at Route 85. Turn right onto Route 85 and follow (approx. 10 miles) through Waterford. You’ll go under I-395 and shortly thereafter (approx. 3 miles), you will pass the Crystal Mall on your right and then you will go under I-95. At this point you will be on Broad Street. Follow Broad Street to the third traffic light after I-95. That is Colman Street. Turn right onto Colman St. Colman St. is an intersection with a car dealership on each corner; you can’t miss it. NOTE:********** Follow Colman St. to the end, (approx. 2 miles), then turn left onto Bank Street. At the third light, turn right onto Montauk Ave. Follow Montauk Ave. to the end, (approx. 2 miles). Turn right onto Pequot Ave., then take the second right onto Guthrie Place. Ample parking borders the grand lawn or Carriage House. We are located 1 mile from Ocean Beach Park. <
To the Lighthouse Inn from I-395
Follow 395 to the New London/Rte. 32 exit. Follow Route 32 to the downtown New London off-ramp. Follow it straight through downtown New London until you can’t go straight any longer. Turn left and then and immediate right onto Bank Street. Follow Bank Street to the third traffic light and turn left onto Montauk Ave. Follow Montauk Ave. to the end (approx. 2 miles). The water will be directly ahead of you. Turn right onto Pequot Ave. Take your second right onto Guthrie Place. The Lighthouse Inn is directly ahead of you.
